In 1998, the band's first eponymous album 'Cry' was recorded and produced
by Benjamin Lefevre; a music veteran who has worked with the likes of
The Pet Shop Boys, The Rolling Stones and Van Halen. After the final mixing
of the CD in London, it was released in Hong Kong where it was well-received
and enjoyed wide press coverage and appreciation from the burgeoning local
music scene - one in which the band now spearheaded.
The band then spent the following years playing at various venues and events, appearing on television, film, radio, online and in print.
Reuniting with Rob Porter, the first album's engineer, the band then began to record their second album entitled 'audiotraffic', reflecting the group's change in name, members and their musical progression. In 2008, the release of their latest CD helped to bring the band even more recognition. Already possessing an enthusiastic and substantial fanbase, the launch party this time attracted a large number of local musicians and celebrities, as well as the band's loyal supporters.
Highlights in the band's career have included opening for 'Mansun', 'The Tears' and 'Journey', all of which have been great influences to their music, and praises from these bands further strengthened 'audiotraffic's' hunger to succeed.
Now with a manager to look after the day-to-day operations of the band and the acquisition of their own studio, the band is working with local producer 'Dan F' to record their much-anticipated third studio album.
